To obtain a legal Z visa to teach English in China, you'll need to meet the basic requirements. Having a Master's degree from the UK, which is a full-time, onsite program, is a significant advantage. This degree will likely meet the educational requirement for a Z visa. Additionally, your C2 CEFR level proficiency in English, combined with your 160 hours TEFL certificate, demonstrates a high level of language proficiency and teaching ability. With these qualifications, you'll be well-prepared to apply for teaching positions in China. You'll need to gather the required documents, including your passport, Bachelor's degree or higher, TEFL/TELSOL certification, police clearance certificate, health certificate, resume/CV, and cover letter/introduction. Be sure to research specific requirements for your chosen employer or school, as these may vary. Once you've secured a teaching position, you can apply for a Z visa and begin your teaching adventure in China.
