The role of a full-time teacher at STAR ACADEMY requires individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and committed to delivering high-quality, innovative instruction. Teachers are responsible for designing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the STEAM and LEGO-based curriculum, fostering a classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, problem-solving, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be skilled in facilitating experiential learning, incorporating technology and manipulatives into daily activities, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Teachers also collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress, maintain classroom order, and support a safe, inclusive, and joyful learning environment.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong educational background, preferably in early childhood education, child development, or a related field, along with a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children. Experience in project-based learning, inquiry-driven instruction, or working with STEM/STEAM curricula is highly valued. A professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, creative environment are essential. While fluency in Mandarin is preferred, proficiency in English is also beneficial, especially for supporting international teaching initiatives and materials. This full-time teaching position offers a competitive salary range of 65,000 to 80,000 New Taiwan Dollars per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
