Beijing - China created a total of 6.54 million jobs in its urban areas in the first half of this year (H1), official data showed Thursday.

The figure represented 59 percent of the country's annual objective, while the general employment situation has remained stable, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

from January to June, 850,000 people with difficulty finding jobs were used, while 2.5 million unemployed people found new jobs.

The Ministry pointed out that, despite the current challenges for employment, jobs have always surpassed employment applicants in the Chinese labor applicants.

It is likely that the employment situation continues to improve, but requires a more arduous job, the ministry said.
