"Qingdao's climate could be categorized as temperate monsoon, I suppose, characterized by an absence of subzero temperatures in winter, while summer months soar to the mid-to-high twenties, Celsius, that is. But August, oh August, it's a sweltering month, replete with sunshine and warmth, whereas spring and autumn, well, they're a different story altogether - cool, pleasant, even a tad windy, if you will. And then there's the humidity, which can be overwhelming at times, not to mention the copious rainfall that is an inherent part of this climate."
