Six people were arrested on criminal ground on Saturday in relation to the flood of July 15 of a tunnel under construction in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, which led to the deaths of 14 workers.
The Government of the city of Zhuhai said the detainees included the Deputy General Manager of the Third Engineering Co of China Railroad No 2 Engineering Group CO, identified by the name of the Liang family; And someone with the name of the Hu family, who is director of Zhuhai Xingdi Construction Management Co, who was supervising the project.
A team sent by the provincial government, and one of Zhuhai's public safety authorities has both have been investigating the incident.
