Zhongshan has a wonderful Southern Chinese, Cantonese style food. As a major city Zhongshan also has a selection of excellent foreign restaurants to enjoy a variety of different cuisines any night of the week.

This is hands down the best place in town for pizza and pasta. They have recently extended their menu to included a wide array of fresh handmade pasta and pizza's as well as other items. I go to Italy Square on a regular basis. I usually order a pizza and a pasta. I love that they have anchovies. The owner is extremely friendly and makes the pizza's himself. He takes pride in his food and always makes an extra effort to make sure his customers are pleased.
The pizza is traditional thin crust and the pasta ranges from lasagna to gnocci. They have all the standard sauces including tomato, carbonara and pesto. The price is very reasonable.
