AP Computer Science Teacher

Prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities. Mark work, give appropriate feedback, and maintain records of pupils' progress and development. Research new topics and develop new curriculum materials. Prepare pupils for external examinations. Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior. Undertake pastoral duties, including taking on the role of homeroom teacher and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties. Communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events. Participate in and organize extracurricular activities, such as elective programs, outings, social activities, school concerts, and sporting events. Conduct regular observations and participate in regular in-service training as part of continuing professional development (CPD). Teach at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Hold a PGCE qualification. Have postgraduate degree in a related teaching subject. Be familiar with AP syllabus concept-based teaching methodology. Possess AP-related training qualifications. Have at least 3 years of teaching experience in the teaching subject applied for. Have experience as a Homeroom teacher. Have track record of students' academic results for AP.
