Job Details:
Salary: 20 25k RMB After tax month
Subjects to Teach: Ancient Civilizations History , Global Perspectives, Western Philosophy, Art History, Drama, etc. with the first subject being mandatory.
Main Content: Ancient Civilization History covering ancient history within various regional and civilizational contexts . Global Perspectives a topic based seminar course addressing global environmental and social issues, based on the A Level global perspectives curriculum .
Requirements
At least 4 years teaching experience in International Schools or related education institutions. Preference will be given to those with two or more years teaching in IB, AP or other international curricula
Proficient in project based learning and case study teaching.
Excellent teaching and classroom management skills.
Ability and willingness to develop new humanities courses.
Enthusiastic and patient, capable of motivating students to engage in learning and understanding their individual needs.
Actively collaborates with colleagues in the Humanity teaching group and AP program, participates in school activities and arrangements, even in cases of short term or temporary additional work assignments.
A bachelor s degree or higher in humanities disciplines such as History, Philosophy, or Anthropology.
Possession of a teaching certificate or relevant teaching qualifications.
International School in Qingdao looking for English literature and History teacher
Job Responsibility:
About 195 working days per school year: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Complete the teaching plan, preparation for the lesson and other related to teaching on
time.
Master and use the student management system to release assignments, correct
assignments and transcribe scores in a timely manner.
Manage students evening self study 7 pm 9 pm according to school arrangement.
Organize or participate in student events and support in some school activities like Open
House.
Teach 5 periods per day, 3 4 subjects courses a semester.
Start Date: Literature Feb 2025, History, Sept 2025
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree or above in the discipline taught or a subject degree plus PGCE.
TEFL or TESOL, Qualified Teacher Status QTS or equivalent, American Teaching license
Licensed state teaching credential .
A minimum of two years of teaching experience.
In depth knowledge of your teaching specialism.
Native English speaker with Consul authenticated Non Criminal Record.
